Adelaide Strikers' star recruit Kieron Pollard has injured a hamstring just days before his opening Big Bash League game.
The big-hitting West Indian is having scans on his right hamstring after being injured in a trial game today.
The Strikers open their campaign on Sunday against the Melbourne Renegades, with the extent of Pollard's injury expected to be known tomorrow.
