Aussies bat first in dead rubber

Australia captain Michael Clarke elected to bat after winning the toss against Bangladesh in the third and final one-day international in Dhaka.


Australia, which has already gained an unbeatable 2-0 lead, rested fast bowler Brett Lee and wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin.


They were replaced by Tim Paine and paceman James Pattinson, who is making his one-day debut.


Bangladesh brought in seamer Mashrafe Mortaza and Alok Kapali in place of Raqibul Hasan and Rubel Hossain.


Australia: Michael Clarke (capt), Shane Watson, Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, Callum Ferguson, Tim Paine, Steven Smith, Xavier Doherty, John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattinson.
